Oakland Spiders
After 6 years, 2 championships, and many memories, the Spiders are moving to Oakland.
The Spiders have been fortunate to have the support of San Jose and the faithful fans at Foothill College since the team's founding in 2014. Over the years the team made incredible memories on and off the field, met and connected with wonderful fans of all ages, and were honored to host AUDL championship weekend twice.
The Spiders remain the only AUDL team to win multiple championships, and as an organization are proud that those titles represent San Jose and the Bay Area. The Spiders are ready to carry this championship legacy forward, as they prepare for another thrilling AUDL season.
The 2022 season will be unlike any other, as the Spiders start a new chapter for our fans and the Bay Area Ultimate community. Beginning May 7th, the Spiders are excited to represent Oakland, San Jose, and the entire Bay Area, while playing as the Oakland Spiders going forward.
While the Spiders city has changed due to constraints brought on by the pandemic, and changes in team management- our mission remains to inspire our community to live healthier, more connected lives through Ultimate. We will continue to represent our community with grit and joy, while working to bring home another championship for the Bay Area, and our family of fans.
