Since relocating from San Jose in 2022, the Oakland Spiders have represented the passion, resilience, and vibrant culture of the Town on the national stage. Competing in the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA), the Spiders bring world-class athletic competition, high-flying gameplay, and affordable, family-friendly entertainment directly to our home field at Fremont High School. As the proud champions of the 2026 UFA title—the franchise’s third championship and its first in Oakland—our mission goes far beyond the field: to entertain, engage, and inspire our community to live healthier, more connected lives through the spirit and accessibility of ultimate frisbee.

Deeply rooted in East Bay pride, the Spiders are dedicated to creating a lasting positive impact that extends well past the final buzzer. Through our non-profit arm, the Spiders Community Web, we actively invest in our neighbors through hands-on youth clinics, local school partnerships, community volunteerism, and accessible event programming. We believe ultimate is more than just a sport—it is an inclusive vehicle for connection, teamwork, and empowerment. Whether competing for championships or mentoring the next generation of athletes, the Spiders are fiercely committed to showing up for Oakland and weaving our community closer together, one disc at a time.
